Ekibeki is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preserving, sustaining and growing the dying crafts of India, which helps generate sustainable livelihoods for artisans. In the football packed months of November and December of 2022, with the help of the team at Ekibeki, I launched a series of six wall plates, dedicated to some of the greatest players to have kicked a ball, who were also playing, what could've been, their last FIFA World Cup.

Vishpala Naik Hundekari (Co- founder and CEO) told me to come up with something a 16 year old boy like me would want to showcase in their room. And as a crazed football fan with the World Cup right around the corner, this was the one thing that stuck with me.

Working with Ekibeki was an experience unlike any other. Learning from the experts, using my skills to give out something in the world, and understanding what really goes into creating something beautiful, are just some of the extraordinary takeaways from this project.
